IoT Sensing System

Monitoring manufacturing factories and water treatment plant equipment in real-time using temperature, vibration sensors, and water level sensors.

As various devices are connected to the internet, it has become possible to edit, analyze, and utilize data that was previously buried. By using sensing systems, maintenance operations that traditionally relied on analog measuring instruments and human senses can now be digitized. Analyzing and utilizing the accumulated information can lead to more stable production. ■ Sensing System ⇒ With temperature and vibration sensors and arm cameras, monitor manufacturing factories and water treatment plant equipment in real-time! ⇒ The collected data can be used for alert notifications and fault prevention! ■ Product introduction video: https://youtu.be/zCinRwEHtYw

Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS/DVS) System

Existing fiber can also be used! Continuous monitoring of long-distance sections over 50 km for 24 hours! Detects earthquakes, leaks, and other anomalies!

Our company's distributed acoustic vibration sensing system (DAS/DVS) is a system that captures vibrations received by installed optical fibers as acoustic energy. Essentially, it utilizes existing optical fiber networks (such as transportation and communication networks) to acquire data in real-time, effectively turning the network itself into a distributed acoustic sensor. In recent years, it has been used to detect minute vibrations caused by seismic waves, leaks or water seepage in factory piping, and various other abnormal sounds, as well as to pinpoint their locations. Our measurement devices are less susceptible to the effects of fading signals commonly observed in systems using other C-OTDR principles, thanks to our unique 2P squared technology. In the ultra-low frequency range, the phase difference method C-OTDR system can sensitively measure transient temperatures caused by the expansion and contraction of fibers due to temperature changes. This method is known as distributed temperature gradient sensing (DTGS) and is well-known in the oil and gas industry. We are conducting research to measure and utilize a wide variety of phenomena using this product in collaboration with various research institutes, universities, and companies in Japan. For more details, please contact us directly or through this website.

Mold Surface Temperature Sensing System "Thermo Monitoring"

Easily attachable to existing molds! A system that detects heat buildup in mass production molds in real-time using wireless temperature sensors.

KMC's "Thermo Monitoring" senses the temperature of the mold surface using an infrared thermal camera during the opening of various molds such as die-cast and resin molds. It captures the temperature changes of the mold in real-time during mass production and detects heat buildup that can cause defects. The acquired data is transmitted wirelessly to a receiver and displayed in thermographic format on a computer. This allows for visual confirmation of heat buildup in the mold, and with the threshold setting function, warning notifications are also possible. By acquiring signals from equipment such as mold opening signals or spray application, it also supports automatic imaging (manual imaging is also supported). Its ease of use from the day of installation is a key feature. **Features of Thermo Monitoring:** - Displays temperature at specified points - Average and maximum temperatures within a specified range can be displayed - Threshold monitoring is possible by specifying a range - Measurement data can be saved in CSV format - Imaging can be triggered by mold opening or output from the equipment - Two types of thermograph display patterns can be selected - Up to 8 devices (16 cameras) can be monitored simultaneously - Air purge function is standard *Please be sure to check the flyer from "PDF Download"!
